Puerto Morelos is a port city in Mexico on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is located between the tourist centers of Cancun and Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya, but retains part of its original character as a fishing village. The Arrecife de Puerto Morelos National Park has many shoreline dive sites. The turtles nest on the beaches of its coast. Inside are the freshwater cenotes Las Mojarras and Verde Lucero.
